EMMA'S DEAD
1992

A wearable artwork commissioned by the Literary Press Group. The work interprets the book Emma’s Dead by Carol Malyon, in which the main character, Emma, slowly succumbs to Alzheimer’s disease. As sand drains from a counterweight, a screen unfurls, slowly obscuring the figure and leaving only a shadow. Presented at the Bamboo Club, Queen Street West, Toronto, 1992.
